Am I eligible for opening a trading account?
Any person who is an individual resident of India, HUF, NRI, proprietary firm, partnership firm, or a company can open a trading account with Hindustan Tradecom Pvt Ltd (HTPL)
How do I open a trading account with Hindustan Tradecom Pvt Ltd (HTPL)?
It’s simple!
There are four easy ways for opening a power-packed trading account with Hindustan Tradecom:

  • By Phone Call 0141-4069600 and our executive will fix up an appointment of one of our Investment Advisors with you, at a time convenient to you, to complete the formalities required for opening an account.
  •  Just walk-in to any of our branches.

Does it cost me anything to open an account?
We offer customized brokerage schemes suited to your trading requirements. Hence, the cost depends on the scheme that you choose while opening your trading account with us.
What documents are required for opening an account
The following are the list of documents required:

  •  Proof of Identity Copy of PAN Card
  •  Proof of Address Copy of any one of the following (Self Attested)
  • Passport
  • Rationcard
  • VotersID
  • Driving license
  • Electricity bill (not more than 2 months old)
  • Landline Telephone Bill (not more than 2 months old)
  • Bank Pass Book
  •  Bank Proof Copy of Bank Pass Book or Personalized Cheque leaf (For Existing Bank Account Holders Only)
  •  Latest Photograph (Single copy)

How long does it take to open an account?
After you have submitted the relevant documents, we will send you the Welcome Kit with details of your Client Id and password within 2 working days.
What if I already have a Demat account with another Depository?

If you already have a Demat account with another Depository, simply mention the DPID at the time of account opening and it will be linked to your trading account. No other formalities required.

What are the different modes available for trading in HTPL?
Client can trade through HTPL lite (exe), and URL based mobile trading.

Is Nomination mandatory for Demat account?

No, Nomination for Demat Account is an optional facility for client.

What is POA in Demat Account meant for?

POA stands for Power of Attorney in DP account where in beneficial Owner appoint Angel broking as a lawful attorney on behalf of him/her for the purpose of Auto Pay-in of shares to exchange to discharge the settlement obligations in respect of securities sold by him/her or for the purpose of providing margin in respect of trading position taken up by BO. Please refer to the POA form in our KYC application for further details.

Will I get the photocopy of my account opening application form?

Yes, you will get a copy of your account opening application in your online login. If you are opening your account through online porta, Account opening form will be mailed to you upon completion of e-sign.

Is it mandatory to submit the financial proof to open derivative account segment?

Yes. It is mandatory to provide valid financial proof to open any derivative segment. You can submit any of the proofs: 6-month bank statement or last 2 ITRs.

Is mobile number mandatory for account opening?

Yes, both mobile number and Email ID are mandatory as per SEBI guidelines.

In which bank do I need to open the bank account?
Hindustan Tradecom has tie up with 40 plus banks which can be mapped with your trading account which includes major players like HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis etc.
How can I transfer funds online?
Funds transfer is very simple process which can be done online after logging in the online trading terminal.
You can easily transfer funds using NEFT, RTGS, ECMS for instant limit update.
Can I submit a cheque if I do not have an online banking facility or if my net banking is not working?
Yes, you can submit a cheque but buying limit would be provided to your trading account once the same is cleared & confirmed by the bank. Contact us at 0141-4069633 for further clarification and assistance.
Can I make a withdrawal in someone else’s name?
Third party cheques are neither accepted nor delivered as mandated by the regulatory authorities. We will make payment only in the name of the account holder.
When will the payments in my account be available?
If you send us a cheque then as soon as it has been paid into your account the funds are available for trading and to settle purchases. It normally takes 3-6 working days for payments through cheque to be cleared. When you use our payment gateway, the funds are instantly allocated to your account.
Can someone else make a payment on my behalf?
We do not accept third party payments from anyone as it is deemed unauthorized by the Securities and Exchanges Board of India (SEBI). The cheque or bank transfer should be in the name of the account holder and from the bank account specified by the account holder at the time of account opening. In case your bank details have been changed or you want transfers from more than one bank account, then please provide the bank details with the proof (bank statement clearly specifying account holder’s name and address). If the amount is received from any other bank account not specified by the client, then we cannot consider the amount received from the customer.

Simply call your relationship manager and we will take care of the rest. The customer will be added to your basket!

How much do Partners earn in a month, when and where will I receive the earnings generated from Hindustan Tradecom?

Partners (sub-brokers) can earn in two ways

  • Through AOI-Account Opening Incentive when you successfully refer and onboard users
  • Through Brokerage Commissions when your referred users’ trade on Hindustan Tradecom The more you refer and the more your referrals trade, the more you earn. The referral reward gets credited to your referral ledger by the end of every month.

How can I reach out to my referred leads to complete the Account Opening Process?
You can simply login to your Partner Dashboard and check your leads section.

Who can become a Partner with Hindustan Tradecom?
Anyone above 18 years of age can become a Partner with Hindustan Tradecom.
